More N64 games, including Pokémon Snap and F-Zero X, will be added in the future. In the Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed these classic games will be available through the new, higher-priced Expansion Pack membership. The Expansion Pack will make nine Nintendo 64 games playable at launch, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64, along with 14 Sega Genesis games and online and local multiplayer support for certain titles. Gameplay footage from the September 2021 Nintendo Direct and subsequent trailers showed these games in their original, 4:3 aspect ratios, similar to the NES and Super NES games already on the console. Beginning October 25, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will be able to access a library of Nintendo 64 games on Switch, but not in widescreen.
